Navarra will present two films produced in the region at the Screenings. They are Surcos, Furrows (Escorzo Films) directed by Julio Mazarico, and Matrioskas, las niñas de la guerra (Haruru Filmak), directed by Helena Bengoechea. Two examples that give an idea of the diversity of the films made in our country, in which an interest in memory coexists with a concern for the most immediate current affairs, the effect that COVD 19 has had on a heterogeneous group of people. In these, and in the other 26 films that we present in our line up, the diversity of the landscape and culture of our community is reflected. The Generazinema grants for the development, production and promotion of audiovisual projects, tax incentives and a very dynamic professional sector that is very committed to its work make up the reality of Navarre, a community that has a lot to offer.
