• SYNOPSIS José Luis receives from his sister-in-law a farewell letter written by his brother Javier. In it, he tells her about the sexual abuse he suffered at the boarding school where they both studied as children. After an unsuccessful attempt to obtain a response from the responsible agencies, he decided to make his case public. The struggle carried out by the victims from the activism, takes their voices to the Congress of Deputies and the European Parliament.

• TRACK RECORD IN LABORATORIES OR MENTORING Simetría Producciones S.L. is a film production company established in 2008. In these years of activity, he has produced more than eighty projects including documentaries, video clips and commercials with distribution in international festivals and national television stations. The project began to take shape in January 2021, when the Association of Victims of Abuse of Navarra (AVA) contacted the production company with the proposal to tell their cases in a documentary. During the development phase, different testimonies of cases reported within the community were collected. The Government approved a Foral Law for the recognition of victims, a pioneer in restorative justice in the country. In the filming phase, the project takes on a national scope as the Navarre victims' associations AVA and AVIPIREN meet together with other state associations with the Ombudsman and the commission of inquiry approved in the Congress of Deputies. These state associations are also part, together with victims' associations from twelve other European countries, of the Justice Initiative: a body that submits a motion to the Council of Europe urging legislative changes in search of truth, justice and reparation. The documentary thus acquires a European scope.
